Brief Biography: : Erick Ford is a leading voice in New Jersey’s energy and infrastructure landscape, recognized nationally for his expertise in regulatory strategy, grid reliability, and the evolving demands of the Advanced Industrial Revolution. With more than a decade of experience spanning government, policy, utilities, and advanced technology development, Erick currently serves as Vice President at Stevens & Lee Public Affairs and President of the New Jersey Energy Policy Coalition (NJEPC), one of the state’s most active and influential industry coalitions. Erick began his career at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, where he gained frontline experience shaping statewide energy policy. Over the years, he has advised utilities, energy developers, emerging technology companies, and national organizations on complex issues including capacity markets, PJM interconnection, industrial growth, data-center-driven load, fuel cells, hydrogen, nuclear innovation, RNG, and infrastructure investment. Under Erick’s leadership, NJEPC has become a premier convening force—bringing together legislators, regulators, utilities, business leaders, and federal stakeholders to discuss long-term reliability, economic competitiveness, and strategic growth across New Jersey and the broader PJM region.
