Brief Biography: : Samuel McDonald is an education leader and arts administrator committed to building inclusive, equity-driven learning environments through culturally responsive and community-based programming. As Education Manager at the New Jersey Symphony, he directs the Training Ensemble and Coach-in-Residence programs, serving over 1,200 young musicians annually. His work includes close collaboration with classroom teachers, school administrators, and district leaders to align programming with student needs and expand access to high-quality arts education. He also teaches vocal studies as an adjunct professor at Montclair State University and connects emerging educators with professional development resources. Samuel has served as a panelist for Arts Ed Newark’s trauma-informed and healing-centered engagement work. He studied music and vocal performance at Montclair State University and Miami University of Ohio. With a cross-sector perspective rooted in the arts, education, and community impact, Samuel is committed to leadership that builds access and opportunity for New Jersey’s young people.
